aswidtread is built so ordinary document reading can happen on your device.
Information stored on your device
Imported documents, readable text, bookmarks, notes, reading positions, preferences, and downloaded speech assets may be stored locally. You can delete individual documents and their derived data.
Information sent over the network
Core local reading does not require document content to leave your device. If you deliberately use a cloud feature, aswidtread sends only the content and account information needed to perform that request.
Analytics and diagnostics
If optional diagnostics are enabled, aswidtread may collect coarse performance and crash information. Document text, titles, file names, bookmarks, notes, and searches are excluded. We do not sell personal information or use document content for advertising.
Security and retention
aswidtread uses platform-protected storage and encrypted network transport. Local data remains until you delete it or the operating system removes it.
Your choices
You may use core reading without an account, decline optional analytics, avoid cloud features, delete documents and generated data, and request deletion of account data.
